"I am a nursing student so I am required to take summer classes at my college so it was much easier for me to live on campus during the summer than commuting back and forth. Over the summer I was approached by someone working for the College Maid Easy company and they asked me to hire them to see how well they actually worked. I agreed and at the time I had a roommate so I had to get her to agree too, but that wasn't too hard. We only had a small dorm room with one big room and a bathroom. So we paid the maid service $30 to clean our room once a week for the month. At first I thought $30 was a lot just to have my room cleaned four times but between the two of us, $15 isn't really that bad. At the end of the month we had to raid the service to see if people would actually pay for it and if it was helpful. Like I said, at first I was a bit skeptical but in the end it really helped us out! We didn't have to worry about the mess in our room so we had more time to study (and of course go to an occasional party or two). It really wasn't too much money either. I thought it was going to be a lot more money than $30 or they were going to do a bad job at cleaning. But I was wrong! They did a great job and I don't even mind paying for a cleaning service! My parents are even impressed when they come to visit!

For a trial run, a student at a local college was asked to try out the maid service for a month and here is what she had to say:
College Budget
College students look for deal when they go shopping for anything because a lot of them lack the funds to get very expensive things. They also lack the time or motivation to clean their rooms so they may want to hire someone to clean for them. There is a new maid service where you pay $30-$45 a month to have your room cleaned. This sounds somewhat like a reasonable price because it is similar in cost to a data plan for a cellphone. This seems to be fitting the college budget because you could save $7-$8 a week and that could pay for your cleaning bill for the month. That is also just if you have a single room, think of how much you would save if you have roommates!
